RBC Scholarship Program for the Children of Employees (Canada)

**SCHOLARSHIP OPEN TO DEPENDENTS OF RBC (CANADA) EMPLOYEES ONLY**

In recognition of the importance of education, the RBC Scholarship Program for the Children of Employees (Canada) was established for the children and legal wards of RBC employees (Canada).
The purpose of the RBC Scholarship Program for the Children of Employees (Canada) is to assist young adults in furthering their education at the post-secondary college or university level. The program is a formal competition and is subject to specific selection criteria.

Eligible applicants must:

  • Be the dependent child of a qualifying active RBC (Canada) employee, who, as of the application date:

-Has at least 2 years of continuous years of service (with continuous service date started on or prior to April 30, 2017);

-Is eligible for employment benefits;

-Is not a Managing Director or Executive Officer of any member of RBC (Canada) as of the application deadline date (Dependent children are described as biological or legally adopted children, wards in legal guardianship, stepchildren and common-law children).

  • Be entering their first year or already enrolled full-time studies in a first bachelor, a first applied bachelor, a first diploma or a first associate degree program.
  • Have a minimum cumulative average over the last 3 terms of available marks of:

75% (or equivalent) for applicants entering a bachelor’s degree or applied bachelor program;

75% (or equivalent) for applicants entering a diploma, applied bachelor or associate degree program;

or 70% (or equivalent) for applicants already enrolled in a post-secondary program.
